Communication Beacons Under Attack

The Intergalactic Communication Authority announced today that several key beacons that power the general communication channel have been attacked and destroyed by Praelor forces.

"We don't know how they found the damn things. I mean, there are only a few people who know where the beacons are, not to mention the defenses surrounding them. To lose most of them is just... it's just impossible!" a clearly distressed representative told the Galactic News.

No comment has been made on how long it will take to replace the beacons. Pilots are advised to utilize metafrequency communicators and alliance channels to keep in touch while the beacons are replaced.
